Sprinting

Top End Speed is a sprint only club for high school track athletes. All training is centered around developing speed and strength for the 100, 200 and 400. There is no training available for distance, throws, pole vault and most jumps. Hurdlers (long and short) and long jumpers are welcome because the physical training is mostly the same outside of the event specific technique. By narrowing in on the sprints we are able to keep the team small, allowing us to provide efficient quality training on the track and in the weight room. Please note, middle school athletes are welcome if they are a sibling of an athlete currently on the team and college athletes are welcome if they are former Top End athletes. While we always have really fast sprinters, we accept all levels of athlete as long as you have the drive to work hard, improve and have fun while doing it 😁.

The Limit

Redmond Sprint Club has a 16-athlete limit. Keeping the size down benefits us in a few important ways. First, we are able to maintain a higher standard of training. The small size enables us to have great gym sessions (breaking into small groups) and do specialized exercises outside that can be challenging on larger scales. Second, when we need to do any significant technical training, we're able to give each athlete the attention they deserve. Lastly, the small unit allows them to build the comradery necessary to push and support each other, in a healthy and competitive environment!

The Cost!

Redmond Sprint Club is $1200 per year. Athletes pay $300 at the start of each season (Offseason, Preseason, Spring and Summer). Athletes who participate in weightlifting program must pay for a membership to Eastside Gym. Memberships are $70 for three months, $130 for six months and $200 for the year. Membership fees are paid directly to Eastside Gym. Outside of team fees and the gym membership, athletes pay for uniforms, meet fees and travel related expenses. The team fees can be paid using Venmo, PayPal or Zelle. Eastside Gym membership is paid with a card and Apple Pay.
